01Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, hold and disclose your personal information, and how we handle it in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Choir is an AI marketing platform available at choirbroadcast.com, operated by Golden Goose Projects Pty Ltd (ABN 19 655 429 646), a company based in Australia (referred to here as “Choir”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account or using Choir, you agree to this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

02The information we collect

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to run the service, including:

  • Account and identity details — your name, email address, sign-in codes, and the business or brand information you provide.
  • Billing details — your plan, subscription status, credit balance and payment records. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.
  • Content you create — the brands, briefs, posts, campaigns, landing pages, and client and lead records you build or import (which may include contact details of other people), and the outputs Choir generates for you.
  • Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser and device type, and how you interact with the app.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).
  • Information from third parties — for example, payment status from Stripe, or data from services you choose to connect.

If you give us personal information about another person (for example, when you import client or lead contacts), you confirm you are entitled to do so and that they would reasonably expect their details to be handled as described here.

03How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate and maintain the service, and generate the content you request.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription, credits and top-ups.
  • Provide support and respond to your enquiries.
  • Keep the service secure and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • Improve and develop features and understand how the service is used.
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • With your consent, or where otherwise permitted, send you service and marketing updates.

04AI processing of your content

Choir uses artificial intelligence to generate marketing content. The material you submit may be processed by us and by trusted third-party AI model providers for the sole purpose of producing the outputs you ask for.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private content to train public third-party AI models beyond generating your requested output. Nothing you create is published or sent without a human reviewing and approving it first.

05When we disclose your information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers who help us run the service — including hosting, AI model providers, email and SMS delivery, and analytics.
  • Stripe, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Publishing and social platforms you choose to connect.
  • Our professional advisers, where reasonably required.
  • Law enforcement, regulators or others where we are required or authorised by law.
  • A buyer or successor in the event of a business sale, merger or restructure, with appropriate protections in place.

We require the parties who handle personal information on our behalf to protect it and to use it only for the purposes we permit.

06Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers are located, or store data, outside Australia — including in the United States. Where we disclose your information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

07Direct marketing

We may send you communications about the service and, where permitted, marketing messages. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by contacting us. We do not use the client or lead lists you import to market to those people on our own behalf.

08How we keep your information secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure — including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, so please use strong, unique sign-in practices and keep your account details private.

09How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account data, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it (for example, for tax or legal records).

10Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us at privacy@choirbroadcast.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. If we can't give you access or make a correction, we'll explain why.

11Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to run core features, and limited analytics to understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

12Children

Choir is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us at privacy@choirbroadcast.com. We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version.
